Reed Deming is a 14-year-old Singer/Musician/Actor from San Antonio, Texas. It could be said that Reed Deming has music in his DNA. Singing from a young age, his musical style can be described as pop or alternative pop/rock. Inspired by artists such as One Republic, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars and Maroon 5, Reed writes original songs with lyrical depth far beyond his years.
In June 2011, Reed won Best Overall Performance at the Septien Entertainment Master's Class competition at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas. At age 11, Reed was a finalist in Simon Fuller's Boy Band for the Next Generation nationwide search and a Kidz Bop nationwide talent search. In March of 2012, Reed signed with accomplished talent manager John Gomez (Silver Tongue Management). Gomez arranged to have Reed audition for The X Factor Season 2 in Austin, TX on May 24, 2012 and he received 4 YESSES from celebrity judges Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. Reed went on to make Top 24 on The X Factor out of thousands, and was a Top 6 in the Teens Category on Britney Spear's team.
In December 2012, Reed was invited to perform at the Big D NYE 2013 New Year's Extravaganza in Dallas with Forever The Sickest Kids (Universal/Fearless Records)...35,000 in attendance and thousands more watched on TV. Reed also starred as the lead role in FTSK's video for the song "Too Young For This". Reed recently signed with legendary agent Mitchell Gossett from CESD Talent Agency for work in Film/TV/Theatre. Mitchell has represented and developed many noteworthy actors including Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), Taylor Lautner (Twilight series), Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games, Winter’sBone), Darren Criss (Glee), Katherine McPhee (Smash), pop star Demi Lovato (Camp Rock, Sonny With A Chance), pop star Jesse McCartney and many more.
In July 2013 Reed released his new 6 song EP called "Ridiculous" via iTunes and has been on tour to support the EP, making appearances at Teen Hoot Fest in Nashville, Pop City Tour in NYC at the Bitter End, House of Blues in Dallas and Houston as part of Pop Explosion Tour, Smash Fest in Hollywood, DigiFestLA, Playlist Live in Orlando, direct support for pop star Aaron Carter and more.
